The Dike Ezeanya Foundation for Liver Diseases (Defflid) is a foundation for liver and liver-related diseases with a strong focus on providing information, care, and support, in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with liver and liver-related diseases in Nigeria.

OUR MISSION
- To provide information on the liver as an organ and the issues relating to the liver.
- To provide aid to those that have had liver transplants and ensure they have sufficient medication, adequate means to run their routine test and enough funds for their consultations and treatments.
- To create a sustainable awareness campaign on healthy lifestyles, especially as they relate to the liver and ancillary diseases.
- To have a Nigeria with full capacity to accurately diagnose liver diseases, provide treatment for patients and have the network to refer patients for transplants if need be.
- To cater to patients with liver-related diseases through counselling, guidance and direction.
- To serve as a lobby and advocacy group for the continuous improvement in health care laws and policies, especially as they relate to liver diseases management in Nigeria.
